"Uza" means "To Sell" in Swahili. This name tells everyone immediately what our platform is about—commerce. It's about the transaction, money changing hands, vendors making sales, and organizers providing a place to trade.
Founded in February 2025, Uza was born from a simple observation: talented creators and unique products were getting lost in the noise of massive, impersonal marketplaces. We believed there had to be a better way—a place where quality trumps quantity, and community matters as much as commerce.
